The public meeting was very well-attended and was a great opportunity to present the details of the scheme. James gave a fine presentation and we had a lot of useful feedback from the audience, particularly from some concerned anglers. As a result we recognised that we've been a bit slow to respond explicitly to the concerns raised regarding potential environmental impacts of the scheme. But we're learning all the time, and happy to accept input from local people. Share issue questio...

Ham Hydro has a new logo and it's thanks to Teddington-based designer Richard Tomlin of the Fusion Effect. Richard lives and works less than half a mile away from the lock and has been a keen supporter of the Project. He was only too keen to offer his artistic skills to design Ham Hydro's new logo. It represents the archimedes screw and the ripples of the water and is really helping to give Ham Hydro a strong identity. So a big thank you to Richard at the Fusion Effect ...

Ham Hydo has been successful in gaining legal support on a Pro-Bono basis from one of London's top law firms. The charity Carbon Leapfrog, which helps new eco business overcome hurdles, has secured the help of a top city firm (name to be disclosed shortly). This is a big boost to Ham Hydro as one of the direct results of our success is a need for legal support with the lease and contracts to be negotiated.
