This course will provide hand-on experience and training in the art of lime rendering. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in designing and or building low impact buildings for residential use. The course offers practical hands on experience of lime plastering and participants will learn about the properties and advantages of using natural plasters and renders. Straw Works is led by Barbara Jones, formerly of amazonails, with a strong team of Associates. Straw Works has been involved in more than 300 buildings in the UK and Europe, ranging from tiny garden buildings to the UK’s largest straw bale building to date.
